Silky Strands began in 2019 with one question: why was the most precious hair in the world—given as devotion at South Indian temples—being acid-stripped, machine-bonded, and sold as a commodity?
We trace every piece to a single donor. We hand-weft in Mumbai. We name each shade for a place we’ve stood in. And we promise re-wefting for life—because an heirloom should outlive its first wearing.
